At work

In the studio and outdoors: painting, wood carving and Vincenzo Follykoué’s early canvases.

The gesture

Brushes, knives, gouges and mallet: Vincenzo moves from canvas to wood with the same energy. He often paints flat on the floor, and carves his totems straight into the trunk, without a model.

Early years

The first canvases

Long before the totems, Vincenzo was already painting large abstract compositions in the ochres, reds and blacks that still run through his work.
